520 || 90 was founded as a result of seeing a problem that many people face on their daily commutes across Lake Washington. Every day thousands of people have to decide whether they should take SR 520 or I-90 but may not know which route is going to be faster or less expensive.


In 2011 a group of entrepreneurs, designers, and innovative thinkers gathered at Startup Weekend Seattle and developed a solution over the course of just one weekend. The goal they shared with each other was simply to find a quick and easy way for drivers to make better choices about how to get to work.
